MyGreenBuildings has completed a year-and-a-half-long coastal construction project on Siesta Key Beach. The home has earned a Platinum rating from the US Green Building Council and is considered one of the most eco-friendly homes in Florida.

This exciting, ultra-custom multi-story home was built for a highly eco-minded couple, who plan on sharing their beachfront lifestyle with an extended family. The home features a highly-insulated and energy-efficient building envelope, high-efficiency air conditioning, photo-voltaic solar power, water reclamation, vegetated/landscaped roof, native-dune revegetation and drought-tolerant native landscaping, requiring zero permanent irrigation. In addition, many other cutting-edge green/healthy materials, systems and designs were utilized. Architecture by Ron Sivitz, of Sivitz Innovative Designs.
