“The Wright’s will have what appears to be a brand new home, rated to withstand 150 mph wind storm, and are already seeing substantially reduced energy costs, their insurance costs will go down, along with their water/sewer costs.  Their new landscape will virtually eliminate their need for pesticides, fertilizers and irrigation – all which used to run-off directly into the bay.”

A note from the owner:

Dear Jim,

I want to thank you for all of your efforts, expertise and patience with us to make our home like new.  We are so happy with the result.  I must admit I had missed your smile in the morning once the project was complete.  You were a joy to work with.

Many Thanks,

Carmela and Gary

MyGreenBuildings is currently retrofitting and renovating the bay-front home of Dr. Gary and Carmella Wright.  Their home is receiving a total overhaul, including strapping the roof structure and walls to the concrete foundation, insulation of all exterior walls, insulation of the underside of the roof plane, closing up the attic and soffit vents, re-sizing the HVAC equipment, installing a solar hot water heater, installing a new roof, re-landscaping with drought tolerant Florida Friendly yard – along with a facelift and renovation for the home.  “The Wright’s will have what appears to be a brand new home, rated to withstand 150 mph wind storm, with substantially reduced energy costs, insurance costs, along with reduced water/sewer costs.  Their new landscape will virtually eliminate their need for pesticides, fertilizers and irrigation – all which used to run-off directly into the bay.”
